The legendary Aventus marks ten years as a cult classic from The House of Creed
Aventus, the best-selling scent that disrupted the niche fragrance category when it debuted in 2010, marks its ten-year anniversary with the launch of a limited-edition collector’s bottle. Dubbed The Supreme of the Fragrance World, The House of Creed could not have anticipated the fanatical following surrounding this men’s fragrance. Olivier Creed, Sixth Generation Master Perfumer of the prestigious luxury fragrance house, was inspired by the legendary life of a historic emperor celebrating strength, power and success. This fruity rich accord is the perfumer’s most successful creation in the history of the brand.
“It’s remarkable to me the way Aventus has been received by our family of clients and the industry,” shares Olivier Creed, Sixth Generation Master Perfumer of The House of Creed. “We wanted to create a special bottle to celebrate this milestone for both collectors and share the fragrance with those who are new to the brand.”
Its unprecedented success at retailers around the globe spawned the birth of the Aventus trilogy. An irresistible feminine counterpart aptly named Aventus for Her debuted in 2016 followed by the unconventional new universal legend Aventus Cologne in 2019 for men and women alike. The new Aventus limited-edition bottle adorns modern triangle accents on the leather-inspired bottle which is a nod to the fragrance trilogy and an elevated luxury touch to the legendary bottle.
The Legendary Fragrance
The ultimate statement of status, the iconic Aventus name means a (“from”) ventus (“the wind”) illustrating the Aventus man destined to live an unpredictable and driven life, ever galloping with the wind at his back toward success. Embodying the rich heritage of the Creed family into one extraordinary fragrance, Aventus is a fruity/rich aromatic fougère, capturing top notes of bergamot, apple, blackcurrant and pineapple; heart of pinkberries, birch, patchouliand jasmine; and base notes of oakmoss, ambergris, musk and vanilla.
The Bottle
For the first time a covetable limited-edition anniversary design houses the iconic Aventus fragrance. Erwin Creed’s intention was to invent an artfully designed 100 mL opaque bottle using the classic black and silver colourwaysin order to create a collector’s piece long after fragrance has been used.
Following the Creed logo, the ribbon anniversary design reflects the historic roots of the Creed brand as a master tailor. This commemorative design and silver cap honors its distinctive and powerful legacy of excellence and alchemy of the world’s finest, hand-selected ingredients. The bottle is presented in a charcoal-colored box reflecting the anniversary design with a granite-inspired texture, embossed with bespoke silver that is reminiscent of strength, power and success.
